The first teaser for the third Knives Out film, Wake Up Dead Man, has arrived, and it’s a perfect puzzle box of suspense, stars, and intrigue. The clip reintroduces Daniel Craig as the masterful detective Benoit Blanc, who is faced with a crime that seems to defy all logic.
The central mystery involves the murder of a priest (Josh Brolin) during Mass, a public killing that creates an instant pool of suspects. Blanc calls it “the impossible crime,” setting the stage for a classic whodunit filled with Rian Johnson’s signature clever twists and turns.
The film is packed with a who’s who of Hollywood, including Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, and Jeremy Renner. Each star will bring a unique energy to the cast of characters surrounding the mystery. The teaser also shows off Blanc’s new look: longer hair and a sophisticated three-piece suit.
After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film is now on its way to a global audience. Wake Up Dead Man will hit select theaters on November 26th and will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix from December 12th.
