INDIANAPOLIS – With wildfires continuing to impact air quality across North America, Carrier is rolling out a new initiative to help families and businesses protect their indoor environments.
Smoke from wildfires contains tiny particles that can worsen asthma, heart disease, and other health conditions. Carrier recommends simple but effective steps: install high-efficiency HVAC filters, seal gaps and cracks to keep smoke out, and use HEPA-filtered portable air purifiers.
“Wildfire smoke doesn’t just stay outside—it can seep into homes and buildings,” said Nick Arch, VP and GM of Residential Solutions. “Our solutions are designed to help people breathe easier and stay safe.”
Carrier’s product lineup includes advanced filtration systems and purifiers. Earlier this year, the company donated $2.5 million in air purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
