Cambodian PM Hun Manet to Attend 47th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia

Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia will lead a high-level delegation to the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, taking place from October 25 to 28, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who chairs the 2025 ASEAN meetings.

Under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” the summit will focus on advancing ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, strengthening ASEAN Centrality, and deepening cooperation with global partners to address regional and international challenges. Discussions will aim to promote peace, stability, and prosperity across Southeast Asia and beyond.

During the visit, Hun Manet is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with regional and global leaders to enhance economic and diplomatic relations. He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, senior officials, and representatives from Cambodia’s business community, including members of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association.

The participation underscores Cambodia’s active role in regional diplomacy and sustainable development initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to the collective goals of the ASEAN community.
