Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a message of resilience to India, declaring the nation’s “soul” is “unshakable” following a deadly terror attack. His statement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi came after a blast in Delhi killed eight people.
“Terror may strike our cities, but it will never shake our souls,” Netanyahu stated emphatically. He offered “deepest condolences” from himself and his wife, Sara, to the families of those killed in the Monday evening explosion.
Netanyahu highlighted the “unyielding spirit” of both India and Israel, which he called “ancient civilisations that stand on eternal truths.” He assured Modi that “Israel stands strong with you in sorrow and in strength.”
This message of solidarity comes as Indian authorities conduct a major terror investigation. The case has been handed to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which has formed a “dedicated and comprehensive” team to probe the blast.
Top sources have confirmed the NIA is investigating a “terrorist attack” believed to be executed by a Jaish-e-Mohammad module. The agency is coordinating with central and state security units to uncover the full network.
